Yorkes artists shine in Solar Art Prize finals

YORKE Peninsula artists Bob Landt, of Maitland, and Ron Wilson, Moonta, had works shown at the 2016 Solar Art Prize, Royal South Australian Society of Arts Gallery, in October.

South Australian Bureau of Meteorology supervising meteorologist Paul Lainio officially opened the Caring for Our Planet exhibition, aimed at community awareness of the many facets involved in caring for the planet.

Mr Landt received the major landscape and seascape prize for his ink and watercolour landscape, Is This Mine.
