Saving for a STEM centre

PORT Broughton Area School raised $12,000 at its recent Evening of Entertainment fundraiser which will go towards savings for a Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics centre.

The centre is expected to cost between $150,000 to $200,000 and could be completed by the end of this year.

“We are looking at modifying one of our current computer suites and a classroom into a more flexible learning space,” principal Tyler Hogan said.
