A spirited performer

CHRISTIAN Reimers, A Spirited Performer is a new biography written by Paul Blackman about a musician who arrived in Edithburgh, Yorke Peninsula, in 1882.

Mr Blackman, now retired, was for many years a member of the Adelaide Symphony Orchestra and enjoys travelling to his holiday house at Stansbury on a regular basis.

It was during his time with the orchestra that he became interested in researching the life of Reimers.
