Rhonda’s drive for charity

COLLECTING cans and bottles for recycling has enabled Rhonda Hausler, of The Pines, to forward more than $500 to the Women’s and Children’s Hospital.

“I spent three months in the hospital as a newborn and my granddaughter has also been treated there, so this is my way of saying thank you,” Mrs Hausler said.

“About two years ago I noticed cans and bottles being thrown out, often along the side of the road, and decided to start picking them up.
