SYP Community Shop hands out $30,000

SYP Community Shop volunteers are Yorketown’s quiet achievers, their enterprise contributing tens of thousands of dollars to local groups each year.

Representatives from Clem’s Shed and the Friends of Yorketown Hospital received substantial donations during a presentation at the Edithburgh Road op shop on Wednesday, November 1.

Friends of the Yorketown Hospital will be able to tick items off the hospital’s wish list to the tune of $20,000, while Clem’s Shed members can purchase $10,000 of new tools and equipment.
