SURFBOAT rowers battled a headwind and choppy seas as they made their way across the gulf from Stansbury to Henley Beach on Saturday, February 3.

It was the 12th annual Henley Surf Life Saving Club Big Row fundraiser.

“Over the years we have experienced heatwaves, storms and major swells, resulting in mild cases of seasickness,” Boat coordinator Darren “Hocko” Hocking said.
