Bikers rev it up for 13th Cousin Jack Rally

THERE were 66 motorbikes entered in the Northern Yorke Peninsula Veteran and Vintage Motorcycle Club’s 13th biennial Cousin Jack Rally in good weather on Sunday, May 6.

Entrants who converged on the VVMCC clubrooms in Kadina for the rally included learner riders, and riders from Port Augusta, Adelaide, Barossa Valley, and even a Queensland Historical Motorcycle Association member from Goondiwindi touring Australia on his 1988 Moto Guzzi California; he had heard about the rally and entered on the day.

“There were the most number of bikes on the short run for quite some years and the older bikes took advantage of the route organised which included a stop at Moonta Bay for a coffee, leg stretch and chat to other riders and bystanders,” club president Kerry Cornish said.
