FORMER Stansbury resident Arthur Farrington will be awarded the National Order of the Legion of Honour in Adelaide on Friday, May 18.
The award is the highest French order of military and civil merit, and will be presented to the 95 year old for his service to the British Army during World War II.
“During World War II, I was involved in the liberation of France,” Mr Farrington said.
