MY Aged Care, a new Australian Government program, has had some teething problems for older Yorke Peninsula residents, according to Yorke Peninsula Community Transport regional manager Julie Mason.
“This initiative supports people aged over 65 to gain services to improve their capacity to remain in their homes, which includes transport through YP Community Transport,” Julie said.
“This means any new client over 65 who rings us must now be registered with My Aged Care first.
