MAITLAND and District Lions Club hosted the Lions Skin Cancer Screening Unit’s visit to the town on Saturday and Sunday, June 23-24.
More than 150 locals and visitors were screened head to toe for skin cancer in the three-room mobile unit, parked in the Heart of Maitland carpark.
“The free community service provided was a screening only,” Maitland Lions secretary Arthur Jackson said.
