Typhoon blows out ferry arrival date

THE return of the Sea SA ferry has been delayed by Typhoon Haima.

Sea Star, the new 60-metre vessel, was due to leave China earlier this month and expected to resume local services in October.

However, Sea Tran­sport Developments SA manager Mark Cant said the boat’s departure had been delayed firstly by the Chi­nese Moon Festival and now by severe weather.
