No change for local doctor fees

DOCTORS’ clinics on Yorke Peninsula are not expected to immediately increase their consultation fees, and won’t for the foreseeable future.

This is despite the Australian Medical Association recommending upping the national standard fee from $76 to $78.

Local clinics already charge less than this for visits, and the majority of YP patients are bulk billed so pay nothing.
