THE state government will consider changes to its planned roundabout at Federation Corner after meeting with Member for Goyder Steven Griffiths and local council representatives last Wednesday.
Minister for Transport Stephen Mullighan told the meeting modelling shows the roundabout, even if it’s only single lane, will significantly reduce traffic build-up.
He said the modelling shows traffic jams will be reduced from 1.3 kilometres to just 50 metres in all directions at the intersection during peak holiday times.
