Counting traffic to create safer crossings

A TRAFFIC and pedestrian study has been instigated in the hope of creating safer school crossing areas in Kadina.

Traffic counters were installed near Kadina Memorial School, Kadina Preschool Centre, Kadina Child Care Centre and Harvest Christian College and collected data for the past two weeks.

The data, combined with a parent survey and pedestrian statistics, will be used to determine how those areas can be made safer for children.
