More than 600 at Yorketown hospital meeting

THERE was a sense of déja vu when 600 people packed the town hall to fight for the future of Yorketown hospital last Thursday night, April 20.

The community saved the hospital when it was threatened with closure in 2008, and again came together to voice its anger at proposed cuts to surgery services.

The public meeting was organised by Member for Goyder Steven Griffiths.
