Animal cruelty near Stansbury

A STANSBURY local was shocked and sickened to come across a display of animal cruelty inflicted on a kangaroo and her joey on Thursday, August 24.

Glenda Lanzafame was driving on Minlaton Road at 7.15am and saw the kangaroo attached upright to a post by her throat with electrical tape, and beer bottles taped to her paws.

Mrs Lanzafame then found the joey dumped on the ground nearby with its face covered in blood.
