OUR BIG BATTERY

SOUTHERN Yorke Peninsula will be the home of the state’s second big battery facility.

The federal government is chipping in $12million through its Australian Renewable Energy Agency for the project.

The battery will be built at the Dalrymple substation between Yorketown and Stansbury, and maintained by ElectraNet, at a  cost of about $30m.
