First dredge since ramp revamp

THE new Port Hughes boat ramp is being dredged for the first time.

Crews started removing excess sand in the mouth of the ramp on Thursday, September 21.

Copper Coast Council CEO Peter Harder said dredging would continue to be part of the management of the recently-redeveloped $2million ramp.
