Agfarm market update

HARVEST continues to gather momentum, and with hot and dry conditions forecast, we should see more areas commence harvest in the coming days.

The majority of tonnes received into the system are coming in from the western and central regions, where growers have delivered around 115,000MT and 100,000MT respectively. Eastern regions are slightly behind, with about 15,000MT delivered so far.

Considering the below-average season South Australia has had, many are surprised with their yields, which are well exceeding initial expectations. Grain quality continues to be good, with most barley going malt or F1 with little screening issues.
