YORKE Peninsula land managers are reminded to guard against silverleaf nightshade this summer.

The weed thrives in warm and wet conditions and recent rain on YP has promoted growth, with many plants already flowering.

Natural Resources Northern and Yorke Landscape team leader Paul O’Leary said it is best to take control now, before berries have a chance to set.
