Yorke Peninsula power woes

LOCAL residents have experienced power blackouts during the past week, but they were unrelated to the scheduled load shedding outages.

About 300 Kadina residents were without power for almost two hours on the evening of Wednesday, February 8.

“A high-voltage fuse blew on our 10,000-volt line, which meant approximately 150 people had partial power supply, and another 150 people were without power at all,” SA Power Networks spokes­person Paul Roberts said.
