Feeling the heat

YORKE Peninsula sweated through a blisteringly hot couple of days mid-to-late last week.

Minlaton almost hit 44 degrees Celsius last Wednesday, and the temperature at Stenhouse Bay reached 43.5OC.

Towns further north also exceeded 40OC and, unlike their southern neighbours, had to put up with the heat for several days.
