Pasties to take on a local flavour

BUSINESSES are firing up their ovens to meet the demand for Cornish pasties ahead of the Kernewek Lowender, May 19 to 21.

At previous festivals, the committee has sourced and sold the iconic savouries during major events, but decided to leave the pasties to businesses this year.

“Kernewek Lowender is a community event and people want to eat products from the places they visit and have experiences with local produce,” KL committee president Lynn Spurling said.
