Bad weather tests Wateroo

A JOINT connecting the two pool spaces at Wate­roo, the new Wallaroo swimming enclosure, broke off during strong winds and high seas last week.

But District Council of the Copper Coast and contractor Sea-Slip say this was meant to happen, and are happy with how Wateroo performed.

The joint was released in the weather as DCCC and Sea-Slip expected, according to council CEO Peter Harder.
