Final shellfish reef checks underway

FINAL checks on the four-hectare Yorke Peninsula Shellfish Reef should wind up by the end of this week.

PIRSA project officer Sarah-Lena Reinhold said there will be checks on site today (Tuesday), ensuring the structures and limestone rows are properly in place.

Rules for recreational fishers will be released upon completion, as per PIRSA’s site management arrangement.
