Price cut for low-income households

MORE than 180,000 low-income South Australian households will be able to sign up for a new energy discount offer to ease electricity costs.

The state government is inviting energy retailers to apply to become preferred suppliers to low-income households which currently receive energy concessions.

The chosen retailer/s will be asked to offer benefits for eligible customers including better prices, bill smoothing and flexible payment options.
