Final fishing grants for Yorke Peninsula

YORKE Peninsula groups have shared more than $500,000 of the state government’s final Recreational Fishing Grants program.

Port Broughton Sailing and Boat Club received $10,565 for its Fishing is Fun program and the Hardwicke Bay and District Progress Association received $5000 for a fishing competition and family day.

Sailing club secretary Tricsha Nurk said Fishing is Fun aims to encourage people to try fishing.
