Leg up for our environment

THE state government has allocated funding for nine environmental projects on Yorke Peninsula.

Councils, schools and community organisations will share in more than $40,000 through the Northern and Yorke Natural Resources Manage­ment Board Community and Bite Size Grants programs.

Copper Coast Council and District Council of Barunga West were the big winners receiving $15,000 and $14,000 respectively. Port Julia Progress Assoc­iation has received $6395 to revegetate land for a proposed walking trail.
