Shoulder widening nearly complete

SHOULDER widening on the Copper Coast Highway, from Kulpara to Paskeville, is nearly complete as only line marking remains to be finished.

Work was delayed by two weeks due to wet weather and an 80km/h speed restriction remained in place for the fortnight, frustrating motorists, earlier in the construction.

“As part of the Upper Yorke Peninsula Regional Road Network Upgrade Program about 10 kilometres of shoulder widening and sealing have been undertaken on the Copper Coast Highway west of Kulpara,” a Department of Planning, Transport and Infrastructure spokesperson said.
