Police News... Speed a factor in rolled Hummocks truck

A TRUCK carrying a shipping container of hay rolled when travelling down the Hummocks at about 9am last Wednesday, November 29.

Maitland police were the first emergency service on scene and allege speed was a factor in the incident.

The driver, a 54-year-old Ingle Farm male, was travelling too fast for his 30-tonne load of hay and has been reported for driving without due care.
