State election issues – roads and infrastructure

THE YP Country Times continues its six-week state election series, allowing each candidate for the local seat of Narungga to discuss issues important to the region.

In week two the candidates focus on roads and infrastructure.

Doug Milera Labor

THE State Labor government is spending $532million on road maintenance and safety measures over four years, of which $341million will be spent in the regions.
These works are in addition to other significant projects including the $106.25million APY Lands Main Access Road Project and the $24.86 million Sturt Highway productivity and safety improvements.
