Candidates face off at Wakefield debate

NARUNGGA residents had front-row seats to a debate between Liberal and SA-BEST candidates, Fraser Ellis and Sam Davies, at Port Wakefield on Tuesday, February 27.

The 30-odd attendees were given plenty to consider for the March 17 election. The Liberals’ promised Port Wake­field overpass was a popular topic.

“It is an obscenely dangerous corner and an overpass serves a double-purpose of improving traffic flow and safety,” Mr Ellis said.
