Little power price relief for South Aussies

ELECTRICITY providers have indicated South Australian households will receive slightly lower bills in the next financial year.

AGL declared electricity bills should reduce by 0.4 per cent, and Origin has announced a one per cent reduction.

State shadow minister for mining and energy Tom Koutsantonis said the reductions were well below the 6.9 per cent spruiked by Premier Steven Marshall before he was elected in March.
