Celebrating 140 years of history at Curramulka

THE 140th anniversary of Curramulka’s founding was celebrated on Saturday and Sunday, October 6-7.

The town’s first allotments were sold on October 10, 1878, and this year’s Back to Curramulka event celebrated the occasion.

Organised by the Curramulka Cultural Heritage Group, the event attracted a large crowd of local and former residents, such are the ties that make this settlement unique.
