Superstorm shocks Snowtown

WILD weather caused extensive damage in Snowtown and lashed other parts of Yorke Pen­insula on Saturday, December 1.

Wind gusts reached speeds of 156km/h in Snowtown, ripping the roof off the recently-upgraded football and netball clubrooms as well as homes and businesses.  

SES Mid North district officer Sue Gage said the service received multiple call outs, most to Snowtown.
