Your View: Holiday spending

A GROUP of nine motorhomes from the Campervan and Motorhome Club known as Peninsula Yorkeys travelled as a tag-along group to some very interesting places on our sister peninsula recently.

Places included Iron Knob (where we started), Kimba, Wudinna, Minnipa, Ceduna, Penang and all places between. Then on the return journey, Smoky Bay, Streaky Bay, Elliston, Cummins, Tumby Bay, Cleve, Whyalla, and home.

Readers may be interested to learn the average amount spent on fuel, food, camping, and caravan park fees was about $75 per vehicle, per day, which equals about $6750 spent by the touring group.
