Your View: Why do we need a ferry?

Living on Yorke Peninsula is like living on an island, but you don’t need a ferry to get here.

So why do we need a ferry? And a government subsidised one at that?

Compared with road travel to Spencer Gulf ferry destinations, the ferry costs more, saves little or no time and has proven to be most unreliable.
