A player from the A grade match will be presented the Lieutenant Annie Merle Trenerry RSL Memorial Medal, named after Tamika’s third cousin. GREAT HONOUR... Cougars host Ardrossan Roos for Anzac Round

Central Yorke Cougars will take on Ardrossan in Anzac Round at Maitland this Saturday.

An Anzac ceremony will be held on the oval at 2pm including the Ode, the Last Post, a performance by the Kadina Wallaroo Moonta Band and a reading from Yorke Peninsula Council mayor Ray Agnew.

After the A grade football and netball matches, a player from each will be awarded medals named after two local service people, Private Bruce Plane and Lieutenant (Sister) Annie Merle Trenerry.
