More than 200 past players, officials and volunteers from Port Victoria Football Club gathered for a last hurrah at the Port Victoria Coastal Patrol Shed on Sunday, August 27.
The club went into recess in 1985. Organisers decided to invite all past premiership players together one last time rather than holding a reunion only for the 1977 premiership, as had been originally planned.
Peter Newbold, the only living member left from the 1947 A grade premiership team, attended along with other past club members.
