Six new champions were crowned at the fourth round of the national Rip Curl GromSearch competition presented by Flight Centre at Berry Bay and West Cape on Saturday and Sunday, November 4 and 5.

Local groms competing included Digby and Ed Tooze (Corny Point), Connor Clisby (Marion Bay), Corey Taylor (Marion Bay), Grace Knight (Kadina) and Aurora Furbank (Corny Point).

On day one, Berry Bay dished up clean consistent two to three foot waves, with all divisions having the chance to showcase their surfing in a massive day of 29 heats.
