Miner’s Marathon raises $1000

More than 50 people participated in the second Miner’s Marathon in Kadina/Wallaroo which raised nearly $1000 for the Jodi Lee Foundation.

Organiser Lisa Cundy, of Kadina, is raising money for the bowel cancer awareness and prevention charity in preparation for taking part in the foundation’s 75km JLF Trek in May.

The marathon, which was held on Sunday, March 11, had four running categories including 5km, 10km, 21.1km, 42.2km and 100km and had participants from South Australia, New South Wales and Victoria.
