Professionals race around the Copper Coast

Elite riders, including world record holders Kelland O’Brien, Sam Welsford and Alex Porter, displayed some high-quality riding at the third Copper Coast Cup on Saturday and Sunday, October 6-7.

“We had about 230 competitors across the six categories which was up by 40 from last year,” Cycling SA CEO Lachie Ambrose said.

“There was definitely some very impressive riding on show, especially by two-time Commonwealth Gold medal winner Sam Welsford in the criterium on Sunday.”
