A fire just east of Minlaton started by lightning caused the game between Minlaton and Edithburgh to be abandoned after a number of players left the green for Country Fire Service duties.
Consequently, after only achieving nine points, Edithburgh dropped to second behind Stansbury, which scored 14 points when it defeated Port Vincent 101-82.
