NYP health concerns sent to minister

WALLAROO Hospital’s em­ergency room is busier than other country centres but doctors are paid less, staff numbers are too low and the police are often called because of violent patients.

THIS week we delve into the numerous and serious issues facing health locally and I want to make it clear from the start this is not a criticism of any service, and certainly not of our wonderful health staff.
