THE Kadina, Jerusalem and Wallaroo Uniting Churches have collaborated to create DVDs which feature local cooks showing how to make Cornish pasties.
Organisers enlisted the help of photographer Kym Gregory and produced a DVD produced featuring Reverend June Ladner from the Kadina Uniting Church and Wendy Bennetts, Wallaroo Uniting Church, showing how the pasties are made.
Janice Trenorden, of the Jerusalem Uniting Church, was involved in the project and said the group was attracted to the idea as it saw the enjoyment and interest of people involved in the pasty making sessions during past festivals.
Proceeds from the sale of DVDs will go to the churches.
The DVDs include a printed copy of the recipe and are available for $12 from The Farm Shed, Kadina, at Uniting Church events during the Festival, and at Copy King, 44a Graves St, Kadina.
The Country Times has two DVDs to give away. Simply be the first two to call 8821 1155 and tell us two of the main ingredients in a Cornish pasty.
