KYM and Karen Stanitzki have hung up their real estate ownership hats after almost 35 years in the industry.
As of yesterday (Monday, April 3), Yorke Peninsula Real Estate is now part of Ray White Yorke Peninsula, under the guidance of directors David and Mel Bussenschutt.
Kym and Karen have run their own agency for 30 years, a remarkable feat considering they were only coming to Yorke Peninsula for 12 months in 1989.
But it’s business as usual, with Kym and the team continuing to operate in the same office.
“We wish our current staff Carly Jarrett, Teresa Webb and Megan Doolan all the very best as they continue their real estate journey with a new team by their side,” Kym said.
“We thank them for their outstanding support and work ethic which has contributed to a great team, working environment and success.
“All our staff over the years have been wonderful, and we thank them for their contributions too.
“There are many people, companies and business we have dealt with over the years from conveyancers, finance institutions and local businesses whom we have had a great association with and many friendships have been built.”
Kym and Karen have seen many cycles and changes in the real estate industry, including recessions, high interest rates, drought, fires, floods and most recently Covid-19.
“Thanks to all our vendors who entrusted our team to market and sell your properties, and to our purchasers as well,” Kym said.
“Much of our business has been from people who purchased a property 20 to 25 years ago.
“Repeat business and personal referrals have been a significant part of our longevity.
“Thanks also to our landlords, many of whom have been with us for more than 30 years, and we wish our tenants all the best.”
Kym and Karen wish Mel, David and the entire Ray White Yorke Peninsula team all the best with their expansion and are certain that the acquisition of Yorke Peninsula Real Estate will have a bright future.
