Snowtown in spotlight

IN A regular series, the Yorke Peninsula Country Times asks the region’s youngest students about various hot topics, such as what they think the scariest thing in the world is, and their favourite things to do at school.

This week, Snowtown Primary School reception students Ned and Ted are in the hotseat. 

The YP Country Times invites school staff to ask one or two reception students the below questions and send in their responses, along with a photo, to Wilson@ypct.com.au.

  • What is your favourite thing to do at school? I love learning. 
  • Who is the Prime Minister? Miss Jaeschke is the Prime Minister. 
  • What is your favourite thing to do at home? I like hanging out with my mum and my cat Percy playing chasey with me. 
  • If you were the boss of Australia, what would you do? I would do lots of business. 
  • What is the scariest thing in the world? Darkness. I am so afraid of the dark. 
  • What do you want to be when you grow up? I want to be in the STAR Force and the FBI. 
  • Who’s your hero? My mum and sometimes my dog Peg.

  • What is your favourite thing to do at home? Play with Mum and buy water balloons from Kelly’s shop. 
  • If you were the boss of Australia, what would you do? I would sit around and be lazy. 
  • What is the scariest thing in the world? My dreams because sometimes they are accidentally too scary and I don’t like it. 
  • What do you want to be when you grow up? A scientist or a race car driver. 
  • Who’s your hero? Mum and Dad.
