SUNNY Hill Distillery, situated 5km north of Arthurton, is a proud, family-owned and operated business.
Sam and Olivia Colliver started building their dream venue in 2016 and officially opened to the public in 2018. They have since become a popular destination among locals and tourists alike.
“We make a range of spirits and liqueurs using wheat and barley grown on our farm to create Yorke Peninsula’s first liqueurs and gins, and Yorke Peninsula’s only vodka and whisky,” Sam and Liv said.
“We have trucked in molasses to make rum and have collaborated with local winery Barley Stacks to make brandy.
“We are unique in that only a handful of distilleries in Australia make their own base spirit and even less than that grow their own ingredients for that purpose.”
Sunny Hill have regular local live music, local food vendors out monthly, and experiences to book.
“You can book in for a two-hour inclusive cheese and cocktail package, spend an hour doing a behind the scenes experience, or hire our venue to hold your next special occasion or corporate function,” they said.
“Or simply drop by for delicious cocktails made with handcrafted Yorke Peninsula spirits, with a pick and mix cheese platter on the side.”
