MAKING an eco-conscious decision regarding carpeting your home is easy with Kadina Carpet Court.

Wool, a natural fibre, is an obvious choice as a renewable and sustainable choice of carpeting.

However, the market is growing, with Carpet Court now exclusively stocking the Econyl ranges of carpet made from regenerated nylon.

“This is the perfect example of how consumers can integrate eco-friendly products into their home,” Kadina Carpet Court’s Bronwyn Dayman said.

“The yarn is made from 100 per cent recycled waste nylon, sourced from old carpets, nylon clothing and fishing nets which would otherwise end up in landfill, or dumped in the ocean.

“Synthetic carpets are petroleum based, so to be able to recycle the fibre means less oil being taken from below the earth’s surface and less smoke entering the atmosphere.

“The nylon fibre has the same integrity as newly produced yarn, but with the benefit of being a much more eco-conscious material.

“The yarn never loses its virgin qualities, which means it can be recycled an infinite number of times.

“This makes it a perfect sustainable fibre solution.”

The Econyl fibre is made into a variety of cut pile and textured loop pile carpets in numerous fashionable colourways and textures by Australian manufacturers.

“These Econyl carpets have all of the attributes you look for in a carpet,” Bronwyn said.

“There are three soft feel cut pile ranges in different thicknesses and a variety of colours.

“There are also five very fashionable, textured loop pile ranges, some of which are made in South Australia.

“You are also supporting the local economy when you buy SA made.

“These carpets all offer a 15-year manufacturer’s warranty, so you can buy with confidence.”

Kadina Carpet Court has all of the Econyl ranges on display, including floor rugs and a variety of woollen carpets.

The range is available through the Port Pirie and Clare Carpet Court stores.

As an added bonus, customers can earn Qantas Frequent Flyer Points when they purchase Econyl carpet.

The friendly and knowledgeable staff at Kadina Carpet Court are happy to guide you through the selection process and arrange for an in-home measure.

They can then arrange for the installation of your environmentally responsible carpet making the process smooth and enjoyable.
