HUSBAND and wife duo, Mat and Nat Whitbread started NYP Car Fix on July 1, 2002. 

The business began with Mat doing the mechanical repairs and Nat handling the office duties. 

As their family grew, their three children also became involved, helping in the workshop after school.

“Our two sons are still valuable staff members in the business today,” Mat and Nat said. 

“One is a qualified mechanic, who also helps out in the office when needed, and our youngest son has commenced a school-based apprenticeship this year.

“We also have two other mechanics as part of our team, one who is a relative and the other is a close friend of the family.” 

NYP Car Fix has evolved into a one-stop shop for all your automotive needs.

“From mechanical repairs and logbook servicing to wheel alignments, tyres, batteries, Pedders Suspension including GVM upgrades, and automotive key cutting and coding — we can do it all,” they said. 

“We’d like to thank our customers who have trusted and supported us through our 22 years in business. 

“As our family business has grown, we’ve been able to give back to our community by sponsoring and donating to local sporting clubs and charities, helping provide jobs and opportunities for local people.”
